My Fiance is an out of the box kinda guy and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what to get him for a wedding gift. He wouldn’t wear a watch, doesn’t give a flip about cufflinks, doesn’t play video games, and I’m out of time to do a boudoir shoot (thinking of doing it for 1st anniversary though!). So I went on a Google hunt for something meaningful and not too terribly expensive. So I’ve taken a few ideas that I found and put them together and I’m about to pull the trigger and get the stuff I need, but I wanted to see what you ladies thought about my idea 🙂
Fiance loves the outdoors, so my idea is to get him this compass (below) and give it to him with a handwritten note that says “I don’t need this anymore, I found what I was looking for and I will follow you anywhere, my love!”
Then I may give him 3 frames that look like this. The locations on the maps will be the spot of our first date, the place where he proposed, and our wedding location and underneath the pictures I will write out the compass coordinates of those spots.
What do y’all think?! Great idea or weird?!

Great ideas! Make sure you get a compass that he can actually use outdoors, not something that is meant to be decorative.

I think the compass is a great idea for a gift! 🙂 I really like the map idea, but maybe not as a groom’s gift?

Do you think maybe just the compass is enough?
