@asianbarbie:  I ordered the ring online and had within two days… It looked great and was made of tungsten so it looks as good when I bought it 2 years ago. And yeah SO does wear it all the time. He sleeps, showers, cooks, and cleans in it. I have no complaints.

I got my Darling Husband a titanium ring from Etsy. It was custom made, so it took a few weeks. I had it engraved at a local jeweler, who had to send it to their main office, and that took a week, I think? I got my rings through Kay and have never had an issue with them swapping out my stone? It takes two weeks (at least) for any work to be done, though.

@asianbarbie:  Is you diamond certified with a laserscribe? Or- have you “mapped” your diamond?  If you do that, you shoudln’t have to worry about anyone switching diamonds.  You also have to take into consideration what kind of diamond you have- my private jeweler explained that while diamond switching does take place, it has to be a perfect scenario- for example- they aren’t going to switch out a IF for anything- if they give 2 sh*ts about thier reputation- because they’d have to replace it with something very similar to get away with it- which in turn makes it almost pointless.
