My Fiance has fallen in love with a Titanium ring. It can’t be sized, the size we get is it. We have to order it 10 weeks in advance and pick the size then, that would be early Spring. Our wedding is in August. I’m worried that the size we order in May won’t fit in August and he won’t be able to wear his ring for the ceremony. Is there a good way to figure out if his ring size would change, how much it might change, etc.

I’m probably not going to be much help, but I bought FI’s wedding band less than a week ago and we aren’t getting married until Dec 2015. I bought Fiance a fashion ring about a year ago and it still fits.

Unless your Fiance gains or loses a lot of weight, his finger size shouldn’t change much.

renwoman: my Darling Husband has a stainless steel ring – same issue, it can’t be sized. We were able to get a protection plan on it though that covers a new ring should we need a different size. I suggest going to get sized when your Fiance is warm (wear gloves before you go, crank the heat in the car, etc) – his fingers will swell to pretty much what they would in August heat. You want it snug, but not so much that you can’t take it off. Generally the finger will change sizes by .5 (at the most) so don’t worry too much about it being too loose in the cooler weather. We bought my DH’s ring in the winter and we were married in July. His ring fits perfectly. Also, comfort fit is always a good idea too if you can get it – it adjusts to the finger much better.
