So, the guys are wearing charcoal gray vests and pants with white shirts (sleeves rolled up). The groomsmen are wearing jade ties to match the girls. I want the groom to be different. . . my first thought was white, but he thinks it’ll blend in with the shirt too much. He is going to have a white flower and the guys will have colored. Is that enough? Should he wear the same tie as everyone else or different? What did your groom wear?

@madteaparty: My DH wore black ties and the groomsmen had royal blue… that was with a black tux tho.
What about a jade and grey striped or patterned tie?

We’re doing the same outfit, but Fiance is wearing a pink tie with white, black, and grey stripes, and the boys are wearing black ties with white pindots.

I suggest a patterned tie that has the jade color in it. Are your colors jade, charcoal and white? If there’s another contrast color in there, you could think about using that color.

I would suggest a grey and green striped or patterned tie- the green doesn’t have to be identical
