I haven’t been to a wedding like mine so I’m hoping you ladies can help me out….I’ve only ever been to super traditional weddings (ie. tuxes, corsages/bouts by a florist, etc) so I’m kind of lost. We are having a slightly more casual formal wedding – does that make sense?
Groom and groomsman in tan suits minus the jackets. – so tan suit pants, vest, white shirt. Groom, and maybe the groomsmen, in a tie. One ‘Groomslady’ in a tan/champagne-ish dress.
What do I have the 2 Ushers wear? Do they match and do the vest/suit pants too? Tan pants and white shirt? I spose they usually match the groomsmen in tuxes usually so they would in this case too right?
Instead of a Boutonniere I’m considering doing a more simple pin (http://www.etsy.com/listing/112508584/deer-brooch I’m working with this seller to possibly get a more masculine silhouette)
For the Groomslady how would it look if she had the same pin but mounted as a pendant necklace? Or pinned like a bout? she isn’t a very flowery girl, I’m not opposed to her having a bouquet just don’t see it particularly neccessary.
Usually dads and ushers get coordinating but not matching bouts, would it look silly if they were ALL in matching pins? No more or less than the groomsmen?
I think I could add some masculine feathers to behind the pin to differentiate (sp) the groomsmen, but I do kind of like the simplicity of just the buck pin. (these are ‘no foofoo, red blooded, beer drinking’ men, so they would appreciate it too lol)
Thanks for reading this overflow of questions and any insight you might have 🙂
