Good question!  Thanks for posting! We’re leaning towards giant bottles of booze at this point. 🙂

@ikcin1109:  In a bridal magazine I saw some really nice and unique cast iron bottle openers.  My Fiance homebrews beer as a hobby and all of his friends are real craft beer enthusiasts, so we thought this was a cool idea.  Some of them are hand-held ones, and some are the kind you mount on your wall/cabinet.  We’ve not yet purchased any, but thought it was a cool, FI-appropriate idea.

ETA: Fiance is already providing them with the ties they’ll wear, and was going to add in a rocks tumbler/glass, since everyone loves a good cocktail glass.  At this point it’s looking like ties rolled up into the glass, probably with the bottle opener and maybe a bomber of one of FI’s homebrews (or a different kind of craft beer that is each GMs favorite style).

I know you said nothing cheesy, but I’m making his groomsmen these glasses

I’m including them in welcome packages (they’re coming from OOT) with local craft beer & a thank you note. This is really just a “token gift”, as our real gift is providing their food & housing for the weekend plus a round of golf.

We got them custom chucks. They’re about $60 each. Not sure if that was along the same lines as a cheesy customized flask though. Darling Husband and his friends all wear chucks regularly so they all loved it. They are always wearing them now and they’ve gotten them mixed up a few times, so it’s a good thing we stuck their names on the heel!
