So apparently if you ask the internet (pinterest/etsy) all men are interested in:
- beer drinking
- whiskey drinking
- cutting things with knives
- flasks for alcohol
- cigars and all related parafernalia
- Bullet casings with engravings (WTF)
My groom and his groomsmen do not fit this mold at all. Please Bees, someone please tell me you managed to find groomsmen gifts that don’t fall into these categories.

@Vsmart: DH paid for a super hero tshirt for each and a round of golf the morning of the wedding. Only 3 of the 6 showed up for golf. LOSERS.

@Vsmart: i am having such a hard time with this!!! hoping for some inspiration here as well! my Fiance and his guys definitely like to drink…but i want something more original than just the usual flask or beer mug. seems so cliché!

Darling Husband got a watch for being the Bridesmaid or Best Man, and gave a watch to his Bridesmaid or Best Man.
But everyone else got cufflinks.
BUT–He once went to a bachelor party where he got a fancy bracelet (a manly one), and he LOVED it!
To be fair, though, that only works if the entire Bridal Party is made up of “Urban” men.

@Vsmart: My Fiance will probably get his uber-geek groomsmen a super fancy set of dice or maybe a new game. Whenever people stress about what to get their bridesmaids I say “shop like it’s their birthday”. Same goes for the guys.

@Vsmart: We bought the guys the suits they are going to wear for the wedding. We made sure to go with a classic style they can wear again. We will probably give them their tues at the rehearsal dinner.

@MelBan: My husband got his groomsmens jerserys from their favorite team. He ordered them from a legit chinese website so they were a little cheaper and they all loved them!

- Wedding: September 2014 - Waldorf Astoria, Chicago
We are doing cigar boxes with a razor (the really nice old school ones…I have no idea what they are called) with their names engraved on them, shaving soap, soap dish and soap brush, and we are going to wrap the boxes with some kind of manly ribbon (does that exist??) and tie a small bottle of their favorite liquor to the top. Found the idea on pinterest and showed Fiance and he loved it. I bought him one for Christmas and he was really excited about it!

Hubby got his boys fairly inexpensive but lovely Timex watches. I got my brother and my man of honor wooden sunglasses from Shwood.

My now husband gave leatherman knives to all the guys. The last wedding we were in, my husband got a beard trimmer- was kind of surprised and thought it wasn’t too thoughtful( but Husband already has plenty of them, sooo…).

mrandmrsp: sorry this is late. Could you share the website your hubby ordered these from?

kellynn323: I have one of those razors, a vintage double-edged safety razor. I love mine. My boyfriend kept using it so I bought him a nice new one for Christmas one year with a shaving brush, soap, and toiletry bag. He loves it and says it was one of the best gifts he’s ever gotten. If you do this, don’t forget the blades. They usually don’t come with the razor, but they’re super cheap. I get mine from http://www.westcoastshaving.com.
I think they’re a great gift, but that being said, it depends on the type of guy. If they already use an electric shaver or are happy with their Mach 3 or whatever, it might not get used.

CHristine2809: Just remembered! If your groomsmen are flying, the blades can’t be taken in the carry-on (okay in checked luggage). So, it might not be the best gift if you have a lot of them traveling.

We struggled so much with Groomsmen gifts! We wanted them to be matching but not the typical gifts of cufflinks or flasks. Here’s what we ended up with:
The toiletry bags will be personalized with a monogram.
