We picked them out together.  For each of our 3 Groomsmen, we picked out something personal for each of them.  I think fo the Bridesmaid or Best Man, we got him personalized steins and included a 6pk of his favorite local beer, as he has moved out of our area.  My brother got a personalized flask, and I forget what we got his brother.  I think we only spent about $20-25 each, so not too terrible either.

Just keep the gift simple and personal, and I am sure they will love it no matter what!!

I’m getting the girls a necklace and travel coffee mug.  I think it will be about a total of $30-40 for each girl since I’ve found some stuff I like already.

The groomsmen gifts are engraved mint julep cups. It goes with our southern theme – and they drink them from time to time.  I think they’ll be about $20.

I was just trying to get stuff I thought they could use for the girls.  FH came up with the mint julep cup on his own.  He was bummed that his friends had mostly gotten married and he’d already gotten most of the "standard" gifts.  He’s gotten – silver mouse, barbeque set, flask, and a plant/tree that I can think of top of my head.  The BBQ set was nice – but I don’t think it was cheap (but you could probably get a cheap set and put them in a nicer box…)

We are having a small attendant party, just BMan and Maid/Matron of Honor.  I don’t have any say in what Fiance is getting his BMan, which is fine with me, less for me to do

I got my Maid/Matron of Honor: a pashmina wrap with rabbit fur trim (for the chilly evening reception); her day of jewelry, a beautiful necklace and earring set; and I’m paying for her hotel room the night before since she has to travel to the event.  So far (w/o hotel) I’ve spent approx $200.

Regarding BMan, I know FI got him a pair of unique cufflinks (for the day of) and buying his shoes (we got custom made shoes for the Groom, BMan, my Dad and Grooms Dad, all as gifts).  Fiance is thinking of getting him a Wii also.  He, too, is spending quite a bit.  But, if we did have more people in our party then we would have gotten less expensive items I’m sure.

Have you checked out Red Envelope yet?  They have some fantastic gift ideas.
