So everyone might think I’m crazy but our Groomsmen are wearing purple shirts with gray suits (hopefully just gray suit vests with no jackets… if they make the right decision).
I hadn’t even thought of white as an option or thought of having anything other than colored shirts, but now that I see that everyone is using white (or black… cool), I’m wondering if I’m the only one. =0/
Am I crazy, bees? Any others out there using color?

I think it is pretty common! Don’t worry! Also those are nice shirts! The white or Ivory is more common with a tuxedo for maximum formality, but colored shirts look good and I think it won’t be too unusual.

My groom is wearing a bright red shirt under his black suit with a black tie. I love the way it looks.

I think that could look great if you keep everything else black!

@Allyser: My bridesmaids are in black and they groomsmen are wearing black shirts, black pants and red ties. So pretty well.

My groomsmen are wearing orange shirts and brown vest/pants while my Fiance is wearing a purple shirt with brown vest/pants. Traditions are in place to be broken. I say hammer away!

The shirt is so bright, i want the GMs to wear gray suits to tone it down a bit. I think it’ll look great.
@Stevie.Brooks: I looove the vest look and hope the GMs agree with me when they go shopping. I love the colors you chose. Hope you share pics come game time. =0)

- Wedding: July 2010 - Mr. Turtle's Grandparents' backyard, Arroyo Grande, CA
I think that grey suits with purple shirts sound super stylish! Mr. Turtle wore a light pink shirt with his grey suit at our wedding and I loved it! Go with your gut! 😉

I LOVE TI! We have the same color scheme, I like how it looks when the color is on the shirt not the vest, its a little different! I esp love when its just the dress shirt and vest, theres something relaxed and sexy about it…
