I’m doing (3) different shades of green for my bridesmaids! I got my inspiration from a photo of a wedding Rachel Bilson was in:
My question now is what are my options for the groomsmen’s ties? I know they could just all wear black ties but that’s pretty boring… If they all wear the different shades I feel like it won’t pull off the look the same way the dresses do. But I don’t think choosing only one of the greens would look right either. I was thinking maybe a black tie with some kind of subtle green design in it but I’m having trouble… any suggestions???

I think that if you do the shade of green that their partner is wearing for their dress would be a nice touch.
I just reserved my groomsmen tuxes. the girls dresses are a silvery grey (all the same shade) and we got the guys ties to match the color of the girls dresses.
They’re a silvery grey with a paisley design on them to make them a little more fun and young.

I think trying to match the ties to the different shades of the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses may be confusing.
I would pick perhaps pick a darker shade just a tad darker then the darkest shade of Bridesmaid or Best Man dress (that was mouthfull!) and have all the Groomsmen wear that shade.

Could you do a tie with a pattern that had a few different shades of green? Not this one exactly but something along the same line…

I would go for a tie with several shades of green:

YES I love this idea! Not too crazy about about the polka dots or stripes but I want to find some kind of pattern with a few greens in it, love it!!!!! Thank you!!
