We ordered for May 12, this past weekend because it’s grad and wedding season and I didn’t want to get screwed with sizes. I presume they’ll be fitted the week OF…

We went and picked out what we wanted 3 months before. Everyone had to get  measured 2 months before the wedding.  Then there were picked up the Wednesday before our Saturday wedding.

Dear Fiance has been in TONS of weddings, and unfortunatly, it doesn’t matter how early you pick them out and get fitted, they’ll come when they come. We’ve had them come a week early, and we’ve had to pick them up the day of. There’s not a set answer.

@bestwishes:  Yep, that is how it works! We chose them about 2 months prior, but the tuxes didn’t get in (to Men’s Wearhouse) until 3 days prior. And since all our Groomsmen were from out of town, we had them all fitted 1-2 days before. It took a lot of my husband telling me not to think about it to keep me from freaking out.  But their alterations are WAYYYYY faster than ours, so it all worked out okay! Never fear, the guys will be there, altered, and looking beautiful! 🙂

You should choose the styles 6 to 8 weeks prior to wedding date. The Tuxedos are ready for pick-up 2 -3 days before. Try on everything. Most REAL TUXEDO stores make changes or alterations if needed on the spot. mens wearhouse can’t, they have no instore stock. So you will have to go back to the store next day..If, it comes at all.
