I’m curious how it works having a woman standing on the groom’s side.
My fiance (squee!) hasn’t officially pinned down his attendants, but I know from previous conversations that his BFF, a girl, will most likely stand with him. I’m totally fine with that and I actually kinda sorta love that he’s being a smidge nontraditional.
My question is about the bachelor party. Does she attend? Does it still count as a “bachelor” party if there’s a girl there?? Her going doesn’t bother me, I’m just unsure of the logistics of this new trend.

I’m not sure as to what most people do, but I would definitely think that she would attend the bachelor party. If Fiance just wants it to be the boys though, invite her to your bachelorette:)

My guess is that a bunch of boys wont want a girl at a bachelor party.. and to be honest, she would probably be a little uncomfortable being at a bachelor party.
invite her to the Hen’s party (bachelorette party), Im sure she’d feel much more comfortable there.

My Fiance is having a best-groomswoman and yes she will be at the bachelor party – hell she’s planning it, after all that is the ‘bestman’s’ job.
She is really good friends with my Fiance and used to hanging around him and all his friends, she fits in like one of the guys. I guess they may do some sort of stripper thing, not really sure (i don’t care, i trust my FI), but I can see her fitting in better at the bachelor party than with me and my girls at the bachelorette.
