Just think about how beautiful you will look on your wedding day and let it grow! You should consider that if you want an updo for the wedding, your hair needs time to grow, (unless you don’t mind using hair extentions…) At the gym clip your hair up so that the hair does not bother you.

I’m kinda in the same boat as you. I like having my hair short because it’s on the thin side. But I would like to start letting it grow so when I get married probably early 2014 it will be long enough to have options. I may end up cutting it again, who knows! I know I don’t like wearing my hair up so I would not have an updo. I think having long hair just gives you more options.

I haven’t gotten anything but a small trim since getting engaged in November, and it’s driving me batty! However, I knew I wanted an updo, and this should give more options. Plus, turns out Fiance really likes the way I look with long hair. I’m actually aving my hair trial 2 days before my wedding (eep! The joys of planning from afar…), and asking then if they will cut as much as they feel they can and still get it into the style I want 🙂

I’ve had long hair for years and years. It was probably a few inches past the bottom of my bra and I just got it cut last week and it hits right at the top of my boobs now, so it’s not short but it is to me! I totally love it. It still looks pretty, but it no longer gets stuck in my armpits or caught in my clothes or any number of other obnoxious long hair problem. If you want a low updo for your dress, I think as long as your hair is a little below your collarbone, you can def pull it off, and you could always use extensions because they don’t have to blend as well in an updo as down. You have a lot of time so you are fine either way! I think short hair is super cute, but it’s not an option for me because my hair is curly and I would have a very unattractive mess lol.
