I believe wheat grass is really easy to grow, since my daughter’s class grew it last year [they’re 4!}. I grows from seeds, so I would think any home and garden store would have them.

It’s really easy to grow wheat grass. Like KateMW said, you can get the seeds from any home/garden store.  Just water it and it grows really quickly.

I just bought wheat berries from a local health food store – they sell it in bulk for $0.79 a pound.  I soaked them in water for about twelve hours, then planted them.  Within two to three days of watering daily, it was sprouting!

I would grow them in whatever you plan on displaying them in.  During my trial runs, I’ve found that the roots grow REALLY thick and dense, and will reach to the bottom of whatever you plant them in.  It would be really difficult to break apart in to any shape without destroying all of it.

I need to grow wheatgrass and get a juicer.  I take a 1 oz shot of wheatgrass daily when I leave the gym in the morning.
