HAHA! You have to replace the keyboard. I had this happen to my Dell (are MacBooks the same?) and i bought it for $20. The on-campus IT center replaced it for free.

Omg, that would infuriate me!  And mac products are usually expensive to replace, I hope that’s not the case this time around.  Its so new, is it covered under a warranty?

If you have the Apple care program take it to the Apple store and they’ll replace it as long as you didn’t spill water on your keyboard or something.

bruuuuuuuuuuuutal.

my vaio does that all the freaking time [just not with vowels, rather the stupid accent keys added to canadian/french keyboards]

technology can be a PITA — thank goodness for warranties 😀

Haha…I’m sorry about this really – but it gives new meaning to “can I buy a vowel?”

I had this happen on my old Acer.  The “c” key stopped working.  So, for months, I went out and found a “c” on the internet, then copied it, and pasted the letter in wherever i needed it.  It sucked switching between upper and lowercase, but at least it makes you coherent 😛
