PLEASE HELP! Fiance says he really doesn’t care about music so he is no help whatsoever in picking an entrance song for the reception and I can not find one I really love.
We have thought about Party Rock Anthem but realized a good friend just used this as their entrance song at their wedding in July (about 40 of our guests were also at this wedding). We also considered Bring ‘Em Out since they play this as our alma mater football team enters the stadium on game day (FI played football and I played volleyball for our alma mater), but I am worried it is a bit too untraditional for the older guests (especially those who aren’t from the area and don’t know the connection to football). Any suggestions for entrance songs to really get the party started??

I had the same problem! I didn’t want anything to crazy like the party rock anthem cuz then we’d be forced to like actually have some rhythm coming in…………….. lol….
I racked my brain and many others, and came upon Once In A Lifetime by Stevie Wonder. It may not be for you, but like you said, I was also thinking about the guests and our style. Which don’t get me wrong, party rock is a great song to shake your booty to, but for me on the dance floor after a few……….lol…………
Do you know what cake cutting song you are using? Are you doing an Anniversary dance? and if so what song will you be using for that? I have to hand my list in tomorrow, lol………….

@Carolyn72: We are doing Honeybee by Blake Shelton for our cake-cutting song (we really like country music!) and are doing The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra for the Anniversary song. Glad we have a bit more time to figure it out! I hope you were able to find some songs you liked!
Anyone else have any upbeat suggestions?
