After doing some research, I’ve come to realize that cushion cuts often look smaller than their carat weight. That being said, for fun, I would love to see what your guesses for the carat weight of my e-ring would be! Ring size 7.5.

I would guess around 1.25ct.
Cushions are deceiving. I have a 2.2ct and it shows closer to a 1.85ct round.

If I didn’t know cushions face up smaller I would guess just under 1ct, like between .85 to .95cts. But I’m guessing it’s closer to 1.1 to 1.2 cts.
I’ve got the same situation with my princess. It’s a 1.3 ct but i imagine most people would guess right around 1 ct, though no one has ever said as much.
And just to be clear, it doesn’t matter one bit to me. In fact, the cost per ct of a princess is lower than a round brilliant so our budget would have gotten us a smaller ct weight, albeit roughly same dimensions, round diamond.

I’m going to say just under a carat as well.

Another vote for a little less than 1 carat.
