He gave me a Christmas eve proposal and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night.
We had planned to take Christmas eve photos at our university campus in the christmas lights, and I had a strange feeling that today was the day. I woke up in a cold sweat at 5 am this morning trying to convice myself not to get my hopes up after having another proposal dream.
he had told me last week that he didn’t think he could afford the ring until february. i was disappointed but i knew i would be okay. So i tried to be good and focus on having a great christmas eve, but i kept noticing little things that seemed off. he called me to ask what time we were taking photos, normally he just goes along with whatever, never plans anything, very laid back. then i told him i would call him once i got to the school and was ready to take pictures, but i didn’t even have to call him, he was already there waiting… i think that’s when my heart realllly started to pound.
we were posing different ways, and i turned around and there it was. my ring. my boy. my perfect proposal.
After that, we called our parents and then headed to our church’s candlelight service where both our families were waiting! It was a beautiful and overwhelming night. i can’t wait to marry him.
My moissaniteco round shared prong solitaire:

- Prong Style: 6 Prong: ROUND

YAHOO!! (although i admit that we both agreed we don’t feel any different… i’ve known for a long time that we would marry some day, it’s just really nice to make it official) 🙂
