@somersetdarling: woooo congrats!
We are debt free as of today! We paid off a large sum of student loans in under 1.5 years! I feel weird telling anyone IRL because I don’t talk about money with them but I’ve just been bursting with excitement about it all day!

I got approved for my very first Amex card today! I got the Blue Everyday Cash, sooo excited for the amazing rewards. I made some horrible credit decisions in my early 20’s so this really reinforces all the hard work I’ve done in the past 5 years repairing everything and getting my score back up where it belongs!! Plus, I’m not gonna lie…having an Amex makes me kinda feel like a grown up 🙂

HA. More like one step closer to Fiance being able to start paying off student loan debt. Not quite as fun as that, though!

Our application got approved for a new house we want to rent! It’s just about perfect with a full master suite, new carpets, new tiles in the kitchen, huge garage (runs the entire width of the house), and a large yard for our dog

Well, first things first, today is the last Saturday I work before we leave for our honeymoon! I was left in charge of my department with a co-worker, and we just worked so well together. He let me handle most of the management stuff while he acted as 2ic. Had everything under control all day, got praise from the boss for handling a tough situation well and after all that, I got to pick what we got for dinner tonight. Oh and I’ve been getting better at makeup. Got a lot of compliments for it today as well. Today’s just been a day full of wins for me 🙂
