I had a character drawing of Darling Husband and I, and had the guests sign the mat. Here’s a pic

We had handkerchiefs that people signed that we’ll turn into a quilt eventually.

We did Guestbook Color pages that are now in an 8×8 album!

Color Pages & Crayons… The guests LOVED them and we have LOVED going back through them.

We had them pick up a page & crayons on their way in and had vinyl record trays & bowls at the tables so they could be returned there… EVERYONE did one and they ALL got in the Album!

Some of our favorites that were done

Have you done a search on weddingbee for “alternative guestbooks”?

Lots of great ideas in older posts.

We are having our guests sign wine corks, that we will then use as decoration in our home somehow.

One of my coworkers bought one of those extra large champaign bottles that were black, and had her guests sign the bottle with paint markers, then she and her husband opened it on their first year anniversary.

@dolphi99:  So cute and creative!

I wouldn’t consider mine “fun”, but our platter is a great keepsake that we keep on the wall.

i saw a neat one once..you can get your picture blown up and turned into a puzzle, then have the guests sign the back of one piece. then when you put it together the front is your picture and the back is everyone who was there, hust dont know on how they displayed that so you could see both sides…neat idea tho

@mandb122: I think we used those hankies for our napkins, did you get them on ebay?

Ours was kind of boring, we made a photobook from pictures throughout our relationship. It was good for us because in all the times we were together I hadn’t printed out any pictures, so I was glad to finally have them all neat and tidy in a book.

@julietblueeyes how great is that! I love vinyl… pretty sure that would have been vinyl overkill for our wedding though… lol

We are having cigar boxes on the table (to tie in FI’s Cuban heritage) and postcards of places in California (to tie in where he’s from). Once the guests sign the postcards they’ll place them in the cigar boxes. We’ll keep one cigar box with all of the postcards in it.

@artbee: I actually got them on Etsy but maybe she sells on both Etsy and Ebay.  I know she was from China and I think the seller name was nathaniel23 or something similar.
