You could have your guests sign the mat which will frame one of your wedding pictures.

Couples with a large guest list can’t do that because all the signatures won’t fit and it gets too messy.

I vote you do the Anniversary Box, since you have just about the right number of people for it.

Basically, you have 50 cards/notecards/postcards/etc, each with a numbered envelope- there should be one for each year of marriage, up to your 50th.

Have your guests write you letters of encouragement, wisdom, advice…. and then they seal them in their envelopes and you open them each year on that anniversary.

I also like the idea of doing a photo guestbook for a group this small, because it wouldn’t be too expensive… either get an Instax or Poloroid camera (I know you can still get film for the Instax cameras) and have your guestbook attendant take pictures of each guest, and then they sign their name in a book next to where their picture goes.

Oooh… or get a (working) typewriter and have people type their names, along with little notes… then you can frame the typed pages or store them in a scrapbook. 😀

Oh, here’s something I just found on Pinterest… it’s super cute, too!
