Hey bees! I’m hoping to get a little input on a couple ideas we are playing around with for the guest book. Not sure if this qualifies as etiquette, but I wasn’t really sure where to post this!
A while ago when I was looking around on Pinterest, I came across a pin that I really loved. Instead of a guest book, it was a calendar to which the guests could add their birthdays. I love the idea of having all the bdays of all our loved ones so we can send them birthday cards…so cute.
When we were at a store, adding a few more things to our registry, we saw a really awesome box covered in canvas and with a postage/mail themed print all over it. I thought it would be cute to have that along with some small cards and envelopes with it, and we could ask our guests to write a note for us to open on our 1st year anniversary. I get excited just thinking about reading them!!
My problem is I’m in love with both ideas. If we have the calendar and the letter station, will that be too much work that we are asking of our guests? I am probably over-thinking it, but I don’t want to impose on their time to relax and enjoy the reception. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
