I’m looking for some ideas for a non-traditional guest book. Anyone have any unique ideas? I have less than 40 days left and I’m running out!!! Thank you!!!

I love all the ideas on the link above, but it does not have my guestbook idea…. I am getting a giant, large format sized champagne bottle for all the guests to sign with glass pens. We’ll open the bottle at a party on our first anniversary or something and display the empty, signed bottle for years to come!
I just created a guestbook on mypublisher using our engagement pictures and leaving lots of blank space for people to sign. I figure it’s a guest book I’ll actually want to look at again!!
We did a guest book vase and it turned out beautifully! I love it and can’t wait to display it in our new home. I bought it here: http://www.amazon.com/Cathys-Concepts-Signature-Baby-Shower/dp/B004JMY6LO
I had about 106 guests at my wedding and it’s mostly full of signatures, but there is still some space left – probably could have fit another 25 or so small inscriptions.
(stock photo, not ours)
I worked a wedding a few months back that got one of those luggage cases form Michael’s and put up a sign that said “Life’s a Journey, Please Sign the Luggage!”
A few years ago, I also went to a wedding that had a photo booth, then a scrap book with colored pockets on each page, so you slipped a photobooth strip into the pocket & left a note on the outside.
You can make a book really quickly via picaboo- just fill with all of your photos, including engagement if you have, and put it on a table with a marker- DONE!
I used blooming branches (cherry or crabapple branches) and had the guests pin quilt squares to the branches with vintage clothespins.
I got the dream tree from Etsy. The guests sign each leaf on the tree. You get to pick the color of leaves, the tree trunk, and the background color. I had them put 2 love birds on one of the tree branches. We also have a 1 1/2 year old daughter who loves owls so I had them add a small cute owl to represent her on another tree branch. Everyone loved it and we can hang it up in our house!
I got a really nice big frame 18x 20? from Michaels and just took the glass part out so people could sign. I got a fine tip marker from Michaels too.
We also had a photobooth and a book to put their double prints in with sickers and makers. Guests loved that one too
i found this on etsy all yoour guests sign a puzzle piece and then you put it together to make an oak tree, i’m sure there are other shapes but it’s a nice idea.
My sister bought us a large picture frame with space for signatures. It also has a plaque with our names and wedding date. It was what we wanted to do in the first place so the fact that she bought it (without knowing our idea) was perfect! We are excited for it.
I bought a blank puzzle (two, actually) and I’m painting our names and wedding date on it, then leaving markers out for guests to sign the pieces.
