What did your guest book look like? Any awesome ideas from weddings that you have been to?!?

We used our picture book from our engagement shoot as our guest book. Guests liked it because they got to look through all our favorite pictures. I like it because we dont have an extra book sitting around somewhere that we wouldnt know what to do with. 😛
I made a shutterfly book of our pictures and left pages blank for people to sign then I had a jar that was a time capsule guestbook for people to leave notes, advice or drawings in. We aren’t opening it til our first anniversary.
we did the same as previous posters- a photobook of our engagement pictures.
Fiance proposed with little black stones that spelled out “will you marry me?” so we’re gonna use them as our guest book!
We also did a shuttlefly guest book that include our e-pics and some regular pics like everyday ones or ones taken from vacations
I plan on having my guests take polaroid photos of themselves using my fujifilm instax camera and adding it to a scrapbook
There are lots of great ideas in old threads

Fiance is into fishing so I got an antique fishing creel (basket) and a reel from the early 1900s. I designed postcards on Zazzle using our names and wedding date on the back and an old fashioned painting (like an old nature book plate) of a large mouth bass on the front. I designed a sign that says “Fishing for advice (well-wishes, signatures, etc.)” that I will put on the guest book table with the rest of the stuff.
We are using a giant map of the United states for our wedding. We have people coming from 17 states and 3 countries! Not sure how to accommodate the international people tho…
1st choice is something similar to this Anthropologie globe if we can find a cheap old one to paint since we are a two-country couple with guests from all over. Would outline continents and have paint pens on hand for signatures.
Second choice would be a travel photography book (picked up someplace like Marshalls or TJMaxx) with signatures throughout over the photos… People could leave travel tips or it could just be an inspiration book since we are big travelers…
My Fiance drew this for our guestbook. Wedding isn’t until June but I’m super excited about it. Only cost $15 in materials. 🙂
