We’re expecting around the same number (inviting 250, expecting 230), and our budget is about $38K for everything (including rings, honeymoon, and rehearsal dinner).  We definitely could’ve done it for cheaper though.

Inviting around 200 – and hopefully around 150 will attend. Our budget is 15,000 (not including my engagement ring).

We live in Dallas and are getting married outside of the major cities to save money on vendors.

That’s not including the honeymoon, either.

I think depending on the area and venue it changes by a lot!

We were looking at November 2011, 120 guest list and spending about 15K for an all inclusive venue! And thats with an off-season discount here in SoCal!  Including FOOD/4HR LOCATION WINDOW/BEER, WINE, CHAMPAGNE/CAKE/CHAIRS/TABLES/DECOR/PIANIST/PRIVATE PARKING

Does not include a DJ and we are considering an extra hour for the $1000 charge! But then again we figured we’d rather have a beautiful small wedding and treat people to an amazing time, then invite EVERYONE we could just think of!

At first I honestly wante the BIG SHA-BANG! But then after budgeting and seeing that we would be paying ourselves! Our wants/needs soon changed! lol

We did end up going to this place, but booking December 2011 (EXTRA EXTRA DISCOUNT) and only 85 guests! and its about 8K! SO HALF! I was STOKED and for the SAME EXACT venue and service!

I’m spending $25k for 200 people, although the guest list keeps growing so it might end up being around 225.

We have 140 ish people and our all inclusive venue will run us about $7000 (ceremony and reception and all that good stuff).  My dress and accessories were $850, so we’re hoping not to spend much more than that…photographer is free, cake is free, aunt is helping with flowers…so we need…a dj I think lol.

Were keeping our list at 140 and I dont have a budget… That doesn’t mean im spending large amounts of money. I just didn’t see a point of setting one because lets be honest we will go over. lol. Anywho im thrilled that my mother in law is paying for our honeymoon 🙂

We’re planning to invite 80 people, since most of the guests will have to travel, I’m not sure if all can make it. Our budget is $30k. It is not including Bride attire, rings, honeymoon, Maid/Matron of Honor dress (I’m paying for the dress) and rehearsal dinner (not sure if we’ll have one).

Fiancee and I don’t want to break the bank, but (since there is no do over button) we do want to do it right (the way we want) so there will be no regrets and what if(s) down the road.

We ended up having around 280 people come and we spent in the $60k range.  Our venue was NOT all inclusive like many above posters.  We had to bring in EVERYTHING!  This included:

  • caterer
  • bar
  • ALL rentals (tables, chairs, plates, cups, silverware, etc)
  • Lighting
  • bathrooms
  • trash bins
  • valet
  • flowers

It wasn’t easy, or cheap, but we had a FABULOUS time!

Our guestlist is currently at just under 150 people.  We have a budget of $10K w/no room to go over.  We are going to have a sit down with our caterer in the next few weeks to discuss options and then decide whether we have to cut down the guest list.
