We invited about 120 people. There are only two weeks left for people to RSVP to our wedding and so far we only have 43 guests (including our bridal party). I am getting anxious that even less than that will show up. Some family members that I consider important to me are not going. I’m kind of disappointed. Trying to be optimistic though.
If you’ve already gotten married or you have your wedding guest completed, how many people said that they couldn’t show up?

2 weeks is still a lot of time to receive RSVPs!
We invited about 120, had 90-100 show up the day of. Just be patient, you’ll probably have quite a few more coming in the mail soon.

punchberry: Lots of people rsvp at the last minute. Just be sure to clear your calendar so you have time to follow up on the non-responders after the rsvp date.

Thank you. I’m trying to be patient lol. Have you ever received RSVP’s back without any name on them? This has happened to me twice already.

punchberry: About 50% of our RSVPs came in over the last two weeks before the deadline. When the RSVP deadline came, we still had about 20 ish people that hadn’t responded – 18 of those are coming (so don’t assume that non-responders aren’t coming, they may have just forgot or for some reason assume that you know they are coming even if that doesn’t seem obvious to you). I’m sure you’ll have a great turn out!

punchberry: I’m in a similar situation. There are 2.5 weeks left until our RSVP deadline. We invited 145 people and only have 56 people coming so far. Hopefully more will RSVP as the date gets closer, but it is extremely frustrating, especially since I just had several families decline in the past week.

You have plenty of time to get responses, and to follow up with non-responders.
We invited 180ish and had 130-140, I think. We had zero people not come who said they could, though.

punchberry: 2 weeks is a ton of time!
How many people have yet to respond?

Most of ours came in two groups: The people who responded immediately, and then the people who mailed it in on basically the last day before the deadline! I wouldn’t worry yet.

punchberry: we numbered our RSVP cards in tiny numbers in the corner, so we knew which cards were from which guests.
we invited about 120 guests and had 100 present. I was surprised to have that many bc most were from out of state.
I had to chase down a few of the guests for answers but most people let us know very close to the deadline.
