Okay so I watched a youtube video of a little boy who passed away due to cancer. he was only 3 and was told he wouldnt be able to make it to christmas & people in his town came all together to make his last christmas a special one. it was very inspiring…
the story touched my heart.. and i want to do anything to make a difference for the children at St. Jude Hospital. Being in Jersey I would love to make a donation & Ive seen people have guest make donations to the brides & groom cause of choice. Would anyone know how i could go about doing this successfully? I would love to do this.
Thanks In Advance <3

Are you asking how to do this in general or for St. Jude’s specifically?
Specifically – call St. Judes & see what you can come up with.
in general – start a charity registry in lieu of a traditional one.

On your invites ask that in lieu of gifts you would prefer a donation to XYZ organization.

if you also want a traditional registry also look at myregistry.com…you can set up a cash fund and name it anything you want (charity fund, St. Jude fund etc) you can also add things from stores onto the same list…one of my friends recently used it and she also set up a fund for charity and i thought it was a great idea..everything was really easy to find and it was for such a great cause.
What you’re doing it so great!

Another idea instead of asking your guests to donate: You could just take the money your guests will give you for the wedding and donate some or all of it, so you are not really telling them to donate.
