such a cute idea! i feel like if you did a coral writing, you would want to maybe have white trees so the colors don’t all blend.  either way, I think it’d look great if you kept the beige color

This looks great!  I prefer the white trees with the coral writing.  It will make a nice contrast against the warmer tones of the wood,

I would find white too glaring, go with the beige.  Do you know if the coral will show up well?

Or a cream – that way the contrast wouldn’t be too extreme but it would still pop some.

skunktastic: maybe do an off-white or cream! I think it would look great with white but it might be too much of a contrast.

Harrisonlake:  I definitely like the white – great idea!

We did something similar – we had the words “Love” in the bottom left-hand corner in white and had the rest of the board open. We had people sign with paint pens, and it ended up working out beautifully. I liked doing it that way because people could write short messages or notes rather than just signing their name (the leaves are pretty small). We got a lot of little messages and I love reading them now (the board hangs on a wall in our hallway so I walk by it every day). 🙂

Either way this is going to look fantastic!

Harrisonlake:  That’s exactly why I did it too! I had some blank wall space, and thought it would be so nice to have a piece of wall art that reminded us of our wedding day and all our friends and family who celebrated with us. It’s one of my favorite things from the wedding – you’re going to love it! And I think the jade green sounds perfect with white leaves and coral writing. I hope you post a picture once it’s all hung up!

I think the white pops a little more against the dark-ish stain on the wood, especially if you are going to use black sharpies for guests to write on.

I’d reccomend doing a test run of whatever pens you want the guests to sign with. Just to see how the pens write overtop of whatever paint youre using (and on top of the bare wood, sometimes people leave messages that may go outside the leaf).

    Really pretty idea =)
