For our guestbook we have two ideas and haven’t been able to decide so its up to all of you bee’s to help us choose the best one.
We are getting married in a 1920’s penthouse in the city.
Our ideas are:
1. Use the design from our save the date (pictured below) blow it up to poster size and have everyone sign it. After the wedding we will frame this display it in our home.

2. Display a vintage suitcase and vintage postcards from places we have been together and our hometowns allowing guests to “write us a note” we will then either put them in a book or have our parents mail them to us throughout the first year of marriage.

Which of these do you think is best?

I love the postcards! I know that I would be searching through to find one that meant something to both of us!

I’d personally rather have the large poster than lots of little postcards to keep after the fact. (assuming its high enough resolution to still look good)
ETA: can you remove the actual “Save the Date” for the poster, since that’s no longer what it is? Just a thought.

I think the postcard idea is really cute!

I really like the postcards! so cute! If you do the save the date – i would just remove “save the date” and “formal invitation…” but I think the post cards are really cool!

I don’t really “get” the idea of having wedding guests signing the save the date.

@loving_life: Yes, we would remove the “save the date” portion 🙂

Poster. I dont like or want clutter and wouldnt want to keep track of all those post cards.
