@hiroshymatetrastar:  i did an 8 x 8 and I think if I did it again I would do 8 x 10. I’m sure mine is “big enough” to work, but after all the work I did, I think it is a little underwhelming in such a small size. The bigger sizes usually aren’t all that expensive either (< $50), so I’d say to for the bigger size

No, 5×7 would be way too small for a guest book or anything except for a little brag book for a parent or grandparent to toss in their purse to show their friends imo.  I would do a 8×10 at least.  If you want to do a shutterfly book, they have a free 8×8 that expires today with code “MYBOOK”.  Apply it to your account first to see if it works, I’m not sure if it was account specific, but it worked for both of mine, and I only got the email for one of them.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  I think 8×8 would be bit small.  But for free (almost free $7.99 shipping), it’s worth a shot to see if you like it.

I actually JUST ordered a 12 x 12 today from Snapfish with their coupon for 30% off to use as our guestbook.  They always have specials – I’ve seen them for 50% several times!

I do think that the 5×7 is small for guestbook… but it would definitley be nice to have around the house to show off your pictures!

@hiroshymatetrastar:  My friend gave her mom a 5×7 snapfish book from her wedding. It’s beautiful and a nice keepsake but… yeah… way too small. Even their close ups feel small in that book and you would need pics with lots of “white space” to write on.

I have a coupon code from Shutterfly for a free 8X8″ photobook if you want it.  Bad thing is it expires today.  Let me know!

@hiroshymatetrastar:  Check GroupOn, LivingSocial, etc.!!  The different photo sites run specials on there all the time. I ended up with a GroupOn for Picaboo.com for a 11×14 OR 12×12 custom photobook for only $15 (a $60 value).  I see these deals come up all the time.

$47.24 after tax and shipping!  A little more than I wanted to pay, but I am running out of time!
