@KarenA: i love that idea! framing wouldnt be too difficult but you would def have to do a shadowbox (if you want them to be 3-D like the picture) which can get pretty pricey but its a great way to preserve it and would look great! if you do it be sure to get the glass that reflects UV rays so it never fades.

We did a 4′ x 4′ Hollywood Star.  We did have a theater wedding but it could work for a old hollywood feel wedding too.

We’re having photography letters that spell out our name…guests will sign the matting around the photos. I took all of the photos myself, so each letter/picture represents something special to me and my fiancé. It will be a great piece to hang up in our home to remold us of our destination wedding, family and friends that attended andunion new life together.

I did an acrylic canvas painting of a beach.  There’s a thick teal border (~4.5 inches) which is our main wedding color.  The guests will sign in silver sharpie in the border!  I can’t wait.  It turned out great!

We are having our guests sign quilt squares and i will sew them all together afterwords.  I also might (as a side thing) do a wedding mad-lib for fun.

We’re planning on having two! We wanted something that we’ll actually be able to use as decor in our home, so we’re doing a thumbprint guesbook and having people sign their name near their print. There will be a tandem bike as part of our ceremony/reception, so the prints will be balloons floating a bike!

We’ll also have a vintage postcard and a pen at each seat, so people can write us a message or draw a picture that they can then deposit in a mailbox that doubles as our card box.

We are having a custom made hand drawn fingerprint tree that we will frame and hang in our house. Since our guests are not signing their fingerprint I have also made a scrapbook with 4×6 cards the guests can sign (the cards will be at their seats along with pens) and write any message they want and then they can place it in the guestbook. In the back will be our e-photos and later wedding pictures.

I’m a bit crafty, so I will also be doing a quilt. Guests will sign pieces of fabric with special pens and after the wedding, I will sew those, along with fabric with pictures of us printed on them, into a quilt. We are using fabric in the colors of hte wedding and pieces of fabric from the flower girl dresses (which I am making too). It’s going to be super cute… I hope!

Im making a quilt in our wedding colors. I plan on haveing people sign it at the reception. I love the idea of something you can use after not just a book you place on your shelf.
