@LizzyR:  My guestbook is similar to this. I did mine at Shutterfly.com. They actually have several templates laid out for Wedding guest books. It’s really neat. And you can edit your pics as you insert them. Ours has pages like, where do you think we will  be in 10 years. Or best wedding advice. And then a couple of the pages are the mad libs things, where they insert adjectives etc. It was super cute and not real expensive!!! We are very happy with ours!! And they run specials all the time. B/c we ordered the book, we now have 100 free prints!! So, its really good!!! Just thought I would give you another option!

@subola:  Yes, we are going to do a guestbook to set out at the ceremony and reception… near the entrance.  Then we are going to have a question posted on a jar at each guest table.  I am planning on using a large heart punch to cut out heart shaped pieces to have scattered around each jar for the guests to wirte on, then they can place the heart in the jar. ((I had a friend do this at her fall-themed wedding and the guests wrote on leaf cutouts.))

This is the paper I am planning on using: http://www.paperandmore.com/product/320/8-1-2-x-11-pearl-white-metallic-cardstock-107lb-cover

I have gotten all of my paper from that site.  It is great quality and I am happy about the price!

@erinbacher:  i bought disposable cameras, although the quality isnt as good as your photographers photos like a pp said.. some of the pictures are awesome!

my parents had them at their wedding, and some of their favorite photos are from the disposable cameras

i think they are a great idea, because a photographer can’t capture everything and sometimes guests at your wedding have a better idea of what youll want to see in photos

Has anybody seen these comment card-things done before?  I’m wondering about ppl’s experiences writing them as guests (did you or did you skip it?) or brides’ who’ve read some of them (was it worth it? funny? touching?).
