    I think this is really cute (as long as some type of wipes are provided!).

    How about a book for each table at the reception?

    No, I don’t think people will wait in line… I wouldn’t anyway.  The cards are a good idea (you can put them in a basket/box with a lid), or the idea of putting separate books on each table.

    I would find a book where you can choose the number of pages you need and the binding uses adjustable posts.

    For 200-300 people I would have numerous “stations” to process your guests in a reasonable period of time. I might even consider having a guestbook attendant to help move things along and to ensure that you end up with full pages, not some full and 15-20 with only one guest’s fingerprints.
