@Soon2BD-CBee:  You will see (almost) every woman’s breasts who is under the age of 40 (and over 18).  Which it’s very sad they are that predictable and it’s not always related to   the plot.  Whenever a new female character appears I think “so how long until you flash the screen?”  Sure enough, they always do, which is a bit annoying, but it’s HBO, so…

Anyway, I really do admire Martin’s storytelling ability.  DH and I were lucky to be near an event when he was speaking and screening the premiere of Season 3 and listening to him speak about his childhood reading books and everything really cemented that even if there is something that is a passing reference in Westros that we don’t even understand, he already knows exactly how that will play into the story down the road.

@LittleCricket:  If you start to root for anyone their likelihood of death, dismemberment, or angst goes up substantially.

Pretty much true. Basically, they all want the throne, and pretty much everyone I love dies.

It’s brutal.

I think you’ll get the hang of the characters. Season 1 was tough for me to keep everyone straight, but by season 2, and definitely by 3, I had everyone down. Just keep going!

I didn’t fully understand it until the second season. Now it’s my fave show. But as PP said, don’t get attached to anyone because you never know when they will either die or become the bad guy.

HBO has a viewer’s guide that sort of spells out who is related to who, where everything is, etc.

But yeah, don’t get attached.

@princessbelle:  She’s almost wrapped up with Season 1, this isn’t too bad on spoilers.  I think it’s only spoilers for season 1 itself.

OP, you can look at it.

@LittleCricket:  oh good.  I have watched all three so I couldn’t remeber what info came from what episode and I really didn’t want to ruin it for anyone.

@Soon2BD-CBee:  Yes, season 3 just ended in June. You can find all the episodes online and stream them if you can’t get them on Sky.
