Haha Stephanie, that story sounds like what my Fiance said after I told him about our deal…except he wanted my sister (who’s a BM!) to take our pics with her digital camera.

Also, awhile back before we were engaged but talking about weddings, he thought we were going to have pizza at our reception!  And he wanted his grandpa to be one of his groomsmen.

My fiance’s grandpa is going to be his best man.  They’re very close and I think it will make our day even more special.

Oh I wasn’t completely against it!  I thought it was hilarious because his grandpa was the funniest man I knew at the time!  But unfortunately he died a year before we got engaged πŸ™ It actually was ironic because Fiance proposed by his grandpa’s favorite hang out.  But it was also one of our fav hang outs too…Too Much Information, sorry Molly for changing the subject of this thread!!!

My dad suggested that Fiance and I go to a “chicken wholesaler” so we can get an idea of how much we should be charged… I just said, “oh, ok, maybe we’ll do that.”  Sometimes, it’s better that way…

OMG if my Fiance thought we would have pizza at our reception he would love it! He could eat pizza everyday! When my Fiance and I were looking for places to get married we were looking for parks and things. We drove by the graveyard my grandmother is buried in and the gate was really pretty with flowers and i jokeingly said we should get married in the graveyard and he loved the idea!

My Fiance thinks that, even though there’s only room for 100 at our venue (they provide 100 chairs, we can rent more if we want, which I don’t want), everyone else can just stand up at the ceremony if there’s more than 100.

He thinks LESS than $800 for engagement pics, bridal portraits and wedding coverage is too much.  “My uncle took  my sister’s wedding pictures.”  Yes, and they were all dark and grainy and looked like your uncle took them.

The other night I was trying to finalize the guest list when he said, “just let me know  when you’re done and I’ll add a bunch of people.”  When I said that we ony have 95 actual invites to work with, as that’s all I ordered, he said, “It’s fine, I’ll just call all the rest.”
