I’m a big football fan myself (we have Mizzou season tickets this year!), but it consumes my SO’s life from September-January. He literally does nothing but watch football on the weekends.
But because he’s so attentive and willing to do whatever I want the other 7-8 months of the year, I try to be understanding. Most of the time ….
So I’ll probably be spending even more time on here. 🙂

I’m excited for football… but definitely not as excited as your SO. LOL

I’m so excited! I’m finally in an all girls fantasy league this year (“A game of throws” haha)
ETA: Picking a fantasy team name is so stressful, there are only a finite # of Call Me Maybe puns

I LOVE football season! I decorate my yard with Steelers signs and Black & Gold outdoor garland around our lamp post and we host parties most sundays when they play. Our friends are also Browns and Bills fans, so we always have a game to watch at someone’s house (even if it means watching teams we don’t like!) Football makes Darling Husband and I more social.

SO excited! We have season tickets for Georgia Tech and tailgate most of the day for all the home games.
We also have NFL on ALL DAY in Sundays. I’m a Colts fan and Darling Husband is a Falcons fan. Plus, we have to follow the (multiple) fantasy leagues! 🙂
Weekends are basically totally unproductive in our house during football season.

I’m excited! But the excitement usual wears off by the 4th or 5th week. By then I’m tired of watching them lose (Browns fan over here ) and I’m tired of worrying about my Fiance at the games, he has season tickets and tends to tailgate pretty hard before the games.. It is exciting though and fun to share the excitement with my Fiance.
Goooo Browns, hey in pre-season we’re 2-0! Woo

Yay! I can’t wait. This is gonna be a good year, I can feel it.
@X0JLYNN03: I know the feeling… I’m a bills fan, so in a few weeks I’ll be eating crow.

I love footbal! Let’s go Giants! Then second Let’s go Steelers!

Love football! I am a Lions fan… (Yeah yeah… Last year, playoffs!) SO is a Pack fan, so when the two play each other things get a little heated, lol.
Last year we watched almost every game at the neighborhood bar and they would also put the Lions on for me if they were playing at the same time. I like that we have a sport we both like a lot – his favorite is baseball but I’m not crazy about it, likewise with me and hockey, but he did go to a game this year and loved it.

Woot woot! I am in 3 fantasy leagues this year – it might be overkill but I couldn’t say no! @LGenz: I hear you on the names – I am still working on mine! Sundays are pretty much all football all the time in our apt, and Fiance just found out we can get NFL Sunday Ticket through his PS3!

I am not a football fan… lol I am not much of a sports fan. I do like Hockey tho..

@X0JLYNN03: Go Browns!!
My Fiance is a football fanatic. I’m a football widow from September-January also. I like watching the Browns, but get bored once their games are over. Being in a Fantasy Football league usually helps get me a little more excited and into the other games, though.

Another football widow here….
Football sundays are my favorite days to go to the mall!
