@BurlapnLace:  I’ve fibbed and told me SO I went to class and actually skipped and stayed home. lol He is a really good student and gets all A’s and never skips class, I still make good grades and made the Dean’s List, but I skip as many classes as I can get away with before it starts hurting my grade and sometimes I either just don’t tell him I skipped, or tell him I went when i didn’t…

@BurlapnLace:  I just died. I’m just imagining myself in the closet pigging out on a chocolatey treat and getting caught.

See, Fiance and I go to the gym together, there’s no escape for me!!  I can’t fake it!

Before we had joint accounts, I’d tell him I brought lunch every day and ate out once every two weeks, when it was really more like 3x every week.

I also enjoy “a cup of coffee a day” thats more like four, ha!

On my very few days off, I occasionally partake in an AMAZING event where I dont give A F#CK and I’ll start drinking beer at noon (for beer snobs, I drink Budlight Platinums= 6% so imagine after like 3 or 4 heehee!) and watch trash tv and cook what I thik are awesome meals; I enjoy the hell out of it. Fiance gets home and asks where all the beer went.

“I don’t know I didn’t pick any up today”

@Rainstorm77:  THIS.  this is my biggest lie and I feel so guilty sometimes!  Its my own money and I have 0 credit card debt (pay my bill each month, w/ money still leftover to save.  we dont live together yet and I pay all my own bills), so I dont feel THAT bad, but I always splurge on dresses (GILT addict) and say I bought fewer for less than I did.  Oops!

For example, toay:

Just bought a nice $50 $20 dollar belt on lilly pulitzer.

Also, a beautiful monique lullier dress on gilt for $150 $50

Dont you just love bargains!

I really can’t think of white lies except for like he asked me to do something and I either a)procrastinated and he’s almost home or b)completely forgot.

Who wants to admit to their SO that they’re pigging out and not being lazy? Not me ! I approve of your lies 😉

@MrsNewDay:  OMG I do that too!

Sometimes I even buy something, don’t wear it for a few months, and then when I wear it and he asks about it, I can say “oh, I’ve had this for a while” without technically lying.

Currently, this is my strategy with the shoes I bought for my bachelorette party in Vegas which are hiding under the bed. I’m hoping that when he sees pictures he’ll be too distracted by the hot pink Herve Leger bandage dress I rented to notice the new shoes 🙂

@Bridebee13:  I think some men would faint if they knew just how much some women spend online shopping! Also eBay! My eBay notifications keep going off on my phone (reminder that a watched item is almost gone) and he knows the sound the app notification makes … When it goes off I look like a guilty dog and he eyes me carefully lol…  doo dooo doooo …. just checking Facebook…. *opens eBay app*

@Rainstorm77:  luckily I havent been using ebay at all! I am sooooo guilty of browsing dresses for hours on all my favorite sites, even if I dont buy anything. SO shameful.

@Bridebee13:  If I bought everything I had ever put into a ‘cart’ online, I would be so in debt. So I think he’s lucky I don’t always click on through to checkout! So… technically… I’m *saving* money…. right?

Sometimes if I discover that the dog has had an accident I pretend like I didn’t see it, so Fiance will be the one to find it and clean it up.

In my defense I had my dog 4 years before we met, and cleaned up many accidents.  So it’s just like he’s making up for lost time.
