I had a trainer for a while and while I did enjoy it, I honestly got more results just doing cardio on my own. If you’re more interested in weight training I do think they would be helpful though.

I used a gym trainer to help me establish a few routines of my own that I followed.  I found it to be helpful in using/trying equipment you may not otherwise…

I have a trainer I see once a week, and it’s great.  He has me do things I would NEVER do without someone making me.  He puts together quick workouts for me that are challenging but doable, and I always feel like I had a good workout.  I highly recommend it!  The first few sessions will be explaining what all the machines do, and then he/she will tailor a program for you.

Good luck and have fun!

I workout with a persnonal trainer twice a week and It’s the best.  I’ve tried working out on my own for years and I didn’t have the results like I do now.  I find I push myself harder than I normally would and I would never skip a workout since I am paying for a personal trainer so my vote is it’s totally worth it 🙂 Good luck!

I also train 2-3 times a week with a trainer. Have been doing for the past 5 years. I enjoy it a lot and it has been completely worth the expense for me! Agree with Miss Melissa, he pushes me more than I would ever feel comfortable or capable doing on my own. Good luck!!
