My boyfriend and I are doing our final ring shopping this Monday and have decided on a Verragio setting and moissy stone with plans to upgrade later. Verragio rings are so intricate they told me I had to pick the size stone I wanted in it forever because they way the prongs are made, they couldn’t up size it later. So we aren’t able to afford a 1ct+ diamond atm so we’re opting for a moissy. (A brilliant choice Imo! The boyfriend loves outter space and it’s a meteorite rock!) I may love it an never change it out, but I’d rather have a 1.5 or 1.25 moissy than a .8 diamond in my ring forever.
So. On to my question. There are two types of H&A one with a D color and the other with an H. The H is drastically less expensive AND in stock. Is it worth paying more and waiting to get the D color? Does anyone have experience with both?

Epicpooka : Verragio uses F-G melee, so you want to keep within 2 colors. Both will work with this setting. But, if you do actually replace the diamond in the future, my bet is that you’d be recommended to get a G/H due for value with no loss in ‘whiteness’ face-up. There is a huge premium on colors above a G (that you can barely see other than some coolness or whiteness in the shade). So, I’d go with the H so an H-diamond does not look too tinted in the future.
NOT recommending this seller, but here is a good comparison shot.
Just make sure to order the setting in your exact size (with a wedding band which may be a bit bigger). Re-sizing Verragio settings can make the small diamonds at greater risk of falling out.

I’d get the H color. It will look more diamond like than an Icey white D color, And will match the diamond melee better.
