redearthlady : just saw these! I honestly can’t believe your stone is an H! That’s incredible.. almost makes me a little nervous to get anything higher than a G!
Your set is gorgeous!

bellabee16 : I love your new set! But what happened to your oval halo? Do you still have it?

bklyn18 : Don’t be nervous. I actually don’t think you can go wrong with the h&a stones regardless if you pick colorless or near colorless. They are both beautiful. What color metal are you choosing? If you are going with a white metal it may be better to go with the colorless just to guarantee the warmth won’t show, but then again that is really subjective if you are color sensitive to warm stones. I actually like a Lil warmth in my stones and I knew I was going with a warm metal so near colorless was a no Brainer for me. Let us know which stone and setting you go with! I look forward to seeing it!

redearthlady : I’m going to be using platinum, but I’m planning on doing a halo around it so I’m concerned about the stones matching.. I had an H amora gem soaring hearts and could definitely see some yellow in some lighting so I think I might be sensitive to color lol. I’m thinking I’ll go with a F-G ish color, I don’t like the icy blue/white color either so I prob need something in the middle!
This was a post showing an F colored 3 stone H&A, super pretty!:

I agree though I think you can’t go wrong they all seem to face up colorless anyway lol

bklyn18 : That three stone and doughnutgirls rings are the two that persuaded me to go with the h&a instead of upgrading to an Amora gem. I think since you are going with a halo I would ask if they have any f-g stones and if non are available in would ask them to choose a stone that has a body color closest to the melee stones they use for halos. I’m actually now working on a semi custom eternity band with them that is going to alternate rubies and a new near colorless g/h f1 3mm size stone that they are acquiring.I also had concerns of using regular f1 stones in my band because I’m scared of them being too icy blue but I didn’t want to use the regular FB Moissanites because I was afraid of the funky yellow, green undertones. So I emailed Chris with my concerns and he suggested the near colorless C&C f1 stones they are just starting to get in smaller sizes. I will keep you posted as well on how that goes.

girlseeksring: Actually, I think I saw that ring listed on Diamondbistro:
http://www.diamondbistro.com/category/216/Natural-Diamond-Center/listings/50661/Title-Removed,-do-not-use-all-CAPS.html
Then again, the Diamondbistro listing seems to have different specs than the ones she quoted here for her halo, so maybe it’s a different ring!

Curious.. am I missing something?? Why does it matter what her past ring was or if she’s selling it? She’s got a great taste in gems it seems! 🙂

bklyn18 : I was wondering the exact same thing. No one knows the circumstances of why the ring was sold, why she changed or started a new account,or why this question seems to be following her in every thread she posts. Regardless of her username, prior rings,or post history…isn’t it all really irrelevant? If the posts the bee makes helps others, and shows bling…isn’t that what we are all really here for?
