It is all a part of the journey and unfortunately, sometimes we end up waiting longer than we are happy with.

Ultimately – do you love him? Are you happy to wait – even if it takes you longer than you would like?

If the answer is Yes – great. You just need some distraction methods. Go join the gym, take a class, get a new hobby, spend more time with your friends. I know how much that feeling sucks though, and its not fun at all!

It does suck but, as much as i HATE to say it, there isn’t a lot we can do with boys and their timelines.

The silver lining? He wants it to happen. 🙂

That’s not so long – next summer will be here before you know it.  If I knew next summer was my engagement time…I’d be thrilled.

It seems like a long time, but once you really jump into just life and have fun, you wont even notice. Have fun with him!! You get a new hobby learn something new and awesome. I know waiting sucks, but like claireos said at least he wants it to happen, that is the good thing!!

You sure it will be a long time, or is he saying that to throw you off to make it a surprise? This waiting can lead to much heartache and anxiety, so I suggest you breathe, take a step back and do something for you, indulge yourself and do something you want to do. Occupy yourself, time will go by much much quicker and you will feel much more self contentment 🙂
