    Is your dress boned? If it’s not, I would definitely make the V WAY smaller.

    Its really hard to see – might be easier if you have a more zoomed in picture.  From what I can tell, though, I think I’d agree with your seamstress that its going to be REALLY low cut if you remove the entire V. I can’t see the beading from your pics so I can’t really speak to that at all.

    I can’t figure out what the “V” is or where the beading is.  Is it part of the front of the dress, or are you referring to lowering the back into a V shape?  It isn’t a poll option but I have to say I LOVE your dress as-is!  I never get paying for a beautiful button-up back and then getting rid of it…
