I’m that bride that’s been posting how worried I was about my first fitting since I’d lost some weight (25 lbs) since ordering the dress and I wanted to post this for anyone else who has the same worries as me.
I had my first fitting today and I was really stressed out about it. I was worried the dress wouldn’t fit right, or I wouldn’t like it anymore. Really, the biggest worry I should have had was how much it would cost me to have it altered (over $500!). Other than that, it seems like I should be good to go!
Here are my before pictures (trying on the sample dress in “Ivory Pearl” – Size 14):
AFTER (My dress is the same size as the sample I tried on, but in Diamond White and I’m 25 lbs lighter):

THANK YOU for posting this! I am having the same concerns – in fact, I am putting off ordering my dress until the last moment, bc I keep losing weight, and I don’t want them to have to completely re-make my dress when its time to alter.
YOU LOOK GREAT, by the way!! Your waist is so itty bitty! Congrats to you for losing the weight!
