I had my first dress fitting last Friday and I am very happy. I asked the seamstress to add orange tulle, but I don’t think it’s enough, so she’ll add more fabric to make the orange more pronouned. I also made an orange flower brooch for the skirt which I may or may not wear – I have not decided yet.
You can see some orange, but I do not think it’s enough
Bustled… not too crazy about it, but I think it’ll do.
This is the original dress on the model… we changed the skirt a little bit because I am very short, so we gathered the outer layer on my thigh to elongate the lines.

Very pretty! I agree on adding more orange underneath the dress, maybe on top of the white crinoline, sewn directly onto dress?
I wouldn’t use the orange flower on the dress, it looks out of place to me and disconnected from the dress. But I think it would look fabulous in your hair!

That dress is stunning on you! I also agree, I wouldn’t include the orange flower, I think it takes away from the dress. You look beautiful.

Thank you 🙂 I’m still debating the flower… it’s a brooch, so I can take it off in the middle of the reception and I’ll take photos with and without it.
