So I went and had my first fitting last night. Tell me what you think of the dress!
It’s too big, apparently I’ve lost TWO INCHES in my waist since ordering it (you can see that it is clipped in the 2nd picture). Now I just need to tone up my arms and get rid of some of the back fat.
I’m thinking of wearing my hair half up and I’m wearing my wedding jewelry. A fair bit of alteration is needed on the top since it’s too big.
Also we ordered the veil I’m wearing in the 2nd picture and I will put some sparkle in my hair.
I’m not 100% on it at the moment. From some angles I feel like I look bigger than I am (or maybe I’m in denial about how big I actually am).
I know I love the dress, I just worry about it being too much dress for my outdoor wedding.
Nothing is going to change now… I just don’t know what I was expecting to feel when I tried it on again.

Hell yeah on losing 2 inches! I’m working on losing a few inches and toning up myself.
Your hair is beautiful, have you considered any up-dos? Do you have any half up half down – do’s that you have pictures of?

@Summy00: I had a hair trail with an updo and I thought I liked it, but then looking back on it didn’t love it (and Fiance didn’t really liked it).
This is what I’m thinking about now:

I think you look phenomenal!

Yay! Congrats on losing two inches! Have you considered wearing a necklace? I NEVER think a dress needs a necklace but I think it might work in this case. That or maybe you need a bigger bracelet/earrings? I just think the skirt is so grand that the jewelry you have now is the wrong scale.

Very pretty, especially the back. Definitely do the half-up half-down hair do-you have beautiful long hair. Show it off. And I agree with LGenz about the scale of the jewelry. I didn’t even notice it in the pics. You definitely can up that volume! But all-around, you look fab and congrats on the missing two inches:)

I will look into changing up the jewelry. I’m usually one to wear very simple and understated thing (not a large jewelry person).
The jewelry really sparkles and I worry that if I do something bigger I’ll look really out of place in my afternoon outdoor wedding.
I think I’m just having some self confidence issues and worrying I’m going to be looking too dressed up for my wedding.
