Yay I had a dream about my wedding last night for the first time! Haha I don’t know why I am so excited. It was a super small and very simple wedding, we didn’t even have a professional photographer and I was OK with it. Then out of nowhere I made up my vows right on the spot – a simple two lines, but they were very poetic and rhymed and were just perfect! I told myself I would remember them when I woke up, and even wrote them down in my dream, but then I woke up and I of course have no idea what they were. And that was it!
What was your first wedding dream like?

We’ve been married almost 10 months now, but I will NEVER forget my first wedding dream…….more like nightmare. I dreamt that the bakery forgot to bring the cake, the photographer showed up super late and we didn’t get all the pictures done before walking into the hall and discovering they forgot to prepare the meal for everyone! LOL it actually woke me up in the middle of the night!

I just had a wedding dream/nightmare a few nights ago! I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and I kept tripping over my dress, then my train was too heavy and I couldn’t walk anywhere. That made me sad.

haha oh no that’s no fun! I still have over a year before the wedding…so I’m sure the closer I get the more chaotic the dreams will be lol.

I’m having a ton of dreams. I dreamt that I was about to walk down the aisle when my friend noticed a loose string on my dress and pulled it. The whole dress unraveled. I also had a dream about my veil. The consultant at David’s Bridal talked me into buying a veil, even though I didn’t want one initially. I’m getting married at the beach and I let that crafty woman convince me to buy a fingertip length veil. Anyway, that night i dreamed the veil blew off during the ceremony, ripped off a huge chunk of my hair, and then I started chasing it down the beach in my dress. In the dream I ran for miles and miles and never caught it. I exchanged the veil for a flower clip for my hair the next day 🙂

My first wedding dream was a nightmare we were having the wedding on a floating thing and I started going down this steep hill to get to it when the thing started floating away but the hill was so steep I couldnt stop and ended up soaked in the water.
THEN I go up to the reception place crying and the DOC is eatting my wedding cake! (mind you the ceremony hasnt even happened yet) NOTHING is done she is just sitting there eating… Then she starts saying it was my fault because She told me to have the cake delivered at a different time then it was delivered…
Needless to say I am having a friend (a very good friend) as my DOC now AND my wedding will be no where near water lol!

I just had my first nightmare and my wedding isn’t for more than a year from now!
*I was wearing an unflattering gold dress
*The photographer was taking pictures of everyone but me (probably because of the dress haha)
*My bridesmaids had someone been replaced by a bunch of girls I didn’t even know or barley knew and they were all wearing hideous pink dresses
*When I tried to say something about them not being my invited bridesmaids the guests booed me and called me an asshole!

LOLLL!!!! Oh how this thread cracks me UP!!!! I have “wedding” dreams once a WEEK!!! Someone gave me the advice to STOP PLANNING at least one hour before you plan to go to bed and it will help…and it has! But sites like pinterest and weddingbee make it hard to stop! lol!
I dreamt I hated my dress so much and it was something terrible as seen on that gypsy wedding show.
That was a NIGHTMARE!!!!

I had my first dream about our wedding last week. It was sorta a nightmare.
I dreamed that 3 of my teeth fell out a week before the wedding. FI’s dad is a dentist and I dreamed that he put my teeth back in but they looked wrong. In the dream I was also freaking out because I didn’t have any jewlery- but said to myself in the dream that it had to be a dream because I was too detailed oriented NOT to have jewlery.

haha it’s so funny to hear all the different wedding dreams!
@amandasf: your dream made me think of an episode of Celebrity Nightmares Decoded that I saw awhile ago…the woman said that girls dreaming about their teeth falling out symbolizes their wanting to have children! Is this true for you?? I found it very interesting because when I saw the episode I had just had that dream for the first time in my life, and I had been thinking about children a lot at that time. Thought I would mention it haha I was curious to see if it was true for you, too!
