I think it looks great.  The only change I would recommend is curling the ends a bit.  They look too straight in the trial photos. i think the curled ends would really help finish the style.

I think it looks more like a wave than a curl like in your pictures. I think it would frame your face better if it was a curl.

i think it looks nice- but i totally agree with both PP..i think the ends are a bit straight an the hair has more waves then curls per say.

that aside it hink the look is very flattering on you and im sure you will look stunning on your day!

Where did you find the first inspiration pic? Can you link? I’d love to see that hair style in different views if I could find them! Thanks Cool

I definitley think she should use a curling iron and do softer curls. Looks like the inspiration though.

I agree with PP, you definitely need more curl to your hair. I also would suggest just playing with the hair by your face – I think it would look more flattering with the shorter front pieces up as well, but that may just be my taste.

@chelles07:  My hairdresser used a straightener to curl my hair, too, and my curls were nice and soft.  I don’t have any good hair shots uploaded to my WB account, but I’ll try to find one later and upload for you 🙂

My only other thought was, since your hair looks really thick, maybe it just doesn’t hold curl well, and that’s why the ends look straight??

It kind of looks too…. uniform? The inspiration picture looks sort of like the bride shook out her head and BAM. Majestic curls. Your waves are a little too…. planned? For my taste anyhow.

I think you are just gorgeous and have a perfect face for pretty much any hairstyle (lucky you!!!!) . Critiquing the hairstyle, I think that the curls need to be bouncier…so the completed hairstyle sits at the collarbone. I love the top, though! Hilights would make it pop, my hair is EXACTLY the same colour as your but you have peachy undertones, so light hilights would look awesome on you and complement the curls.

If she is doing your hair and colour, gently remind her to keep in mind that you are wearing part of your hair up (when she is doing the foils…) you don’t want any weird lines.

Looks awesome!!!!! Good luck!

I personally think the volume and shape is great. She probably used a straightener because your hair is thin and they can get hotter. However, it is the technique and type of straightener that is causing the effect. It looks like crimping waves instead of curls (both of which are possible with a straightner). My guess is that she kept it more wavy to keep the length. I know that I lose 2-3 inches of hair to curls when I curl mine. If you want the curls tighter, she should be able to do it. You just may look like you have much shorter hair.

If I’m completely honest I don’t think it looks very natural.  I dont think I’ve ever seen someone with hair that naturally waves like that.  I do think she nailed the style but the look will really come together if she uses a curling iron instead of a flat.

Agreed that a curler will solve that minor issue.  Beautiful hairstyle and you are going to look GORGEOUS! 🙂

I agree with the PPs about the ends of your hair.  Either way, I think you’re going to look gorgeous!
