so my ring should have been a 6.5 based on the sizer rings i tried when i picked it. It came in at a 6.75. I just had it made a 6.25 and it still doesn’t feel ‘right’. The size 6 dummy ring felt way too tight (and gave my finger an unatrractive muffin top). How much does your ring move around?

@MsGinkgo: When it is cold, my ring spins. When the temperature is hot, it doesn’t move at all.

I have teeny fingers but not so teeny knuckles. I have to push to get it over my knuckle (it would never come off) but still spins, especially when it is cold. Only when it is hot do i feel like it actually fits. Oh well.

Have two little ‘sizing balls’ soldered to the inside of your ring.

Now that it’s getting warmer out, sometimes my ring just won’t budge…but in the winter, forget about it, it’s practically flying off.

Same as the other bees, mine is fine in the summer or when I am bloated, but in the winter it spins a bit. It’s better than getting something that will get stuck on my finger or make me uncomfortable.

I found those ring sizer things aren’t that accurate because they are a square rough band whereas a ring is smoother. I had to get mine size down one size because it was too big. It still feels big, but I have knobby knuckles and my hands swell in the morning so I wouldn’t be able to get it on if it were any smaller.

@MsGinkgo: I had mine sized down twice (I had to argue to get them to do it the second time!) and now it fits nice and tight. If it’s cold, my ring spins, but it does’t come off my finger / over my knuckle now. I got mine sized down an extra .25 past where they wanted me to, and that made all of the difference. If you want to do it, do it.
