So my Maid/Matron of Honor has been planning my surpirse tea party shower this past year. It was held last Sunday, the 25th of March, at an upscale restraurant. The owner actually shops at her my Future Mother-In-Law florist shop, so they were able to get a pretty good deal, and the food was awesome! All prepared by the owner too!
The few weeks before, Fiance had told me that every Sunday from then on I was to wear a pretty dress. I had no idea that it was last Sunday though, because about a month ago my Maid/Matron of Honor ‘slipped’ and said that it was the first of april. She had me fooled!
Anyways, the theme was tea party. Everyone was to wear their tea party attire and any cute, big sun hat that they could find. As you can tell by the pictures, my mom got really into the theme. She said that she had been researching what they used to wear at tea parties and she found her dress for $1 at a garage sale. Her get-up was probably the highlight of the shower.
As you can see, my mom(on the left) had an awesome outfit.
My lovely bridesmaids(far left and far right, me in yellow and Maid/Matron of Honor in green) I am so thankful for my MOH(my FSIL) she has not only been there with my in every step of the wedding planning process(from cake tasting to picking out the dress, the linens, caterer and now throwing me the BEST bridal shower ever!) she is also my wedding planner(she has made all wedding related calls for me, helped me send out invites and is currently working on my seating chart for the reception. I LOVE HER SO MUCH AND AM SO THANKFUL FOR HER! Her 6 month old daugther is also my flowergirl!
The adorable favors. Floral tea cups and saucers. Each one had three packets of tea in it as well.
One of the more special gifts that i received at my shower, my Maid/Matron of Honor made this shadow box for me, it had my whole invitation suite in it. I loved it!
Me with my mom and grandma.
My throne that I got to sit on, made by my Fiance aunt.
My ribbon bouquet!
