I had read here on the Bee that if you have the back of your dress lowered it would eliminate “back fat”
Well, It didn’t work for me. ๐ Not only do I have the back rolling over the top of the bress but there is a little “butt” crease.

(Please ignore the hair and make up. I am not wearing my hair like that for the wedding.)

Honestly, you are so gorgeous that I barely notice your back. And I think in this photo it is more pronounce because of your posture. On the day of, when your moving and walking and your arms aren’t down at your sides, it will be barely noticeable.

@jjah89: OMG what a sweet thing to say. Thank you.
I was feeling so ugly in that picture.
I am the type who nitpicks everything about my self so I know it will bug me but there is nothing I can do about it now.
Maybe I’ll have a drink or two before my “dry” wedding. LOL

You look amazing! I love the hairstyle. Is that what you’re planning on getting done for the big day?

Oh wow!! You look beautiful!!! I also think it’s a posture thing and it’s not going to be noticeable. Also, are you still planning on adding the overlay lace on the top part of your dress??

@Rouquine: Thank you. I thought I wanted that hairstyle but straight on it’s just too slicked back for me. Going to try something else.
@msfuturea: Thanks to you too. Gosh. I wasn’t fishing for compliments but I’ll take em. hehe
Yes I am adding the lace top but won’t be wearing it the whole night.

Yes, what msfuturea said! A lace overlay would make you feel more confident (not that there is anything wrong with how you look, BTW). Plus, could you loosen the corset back just a little at the top, and hold it tight further down with some sort of pins or something?

You look just beautiful (and the dress, too!) No one will even notice your “””back rolling over the top””” ๐
As the other ladies have said, that might have just been a result of your posture.. I wouldn’t worry about a thing!

@Rachel631: Thanks. I am hoping that when my maids lace up my dress it won’t be as tight and maybe, just maybe, the back fat will decrease some.

Also, I hope this doesnt sound weird.. but there is tape that can be used (double sided that you can get at a bridal shop).. and you can kind of … pull and tuck whatever is bothering you into your dress.. haha.

@booEXcore: Thank you. As for my posture, I did notice that if stand hunched over it the back fat goes away. LOL
